    Company party in August

    In December 2020, as probably many companies, we were unfortunately unable to hold our annual Christmas event due to Corona. Instead, we celebrated a successful company party with all employees and family members at the end of August 2021, of course under the currently valid Corona regulations. Bouncy castles and a balloon show were not only enjoyed by children. Even the weather did not dampen our mood and we celebrated with good music and great food until late in the evening.

    All in all, it was a successful event.

    New innovative Plant

    Just in time for the turn of the month, we put a new plant into operation. This system combines the possibility of high-precision measurement (capability according to MSA3 for a tolerance range of less than 0.01mm) with the evaluation of surface quality on round components.

    Sleeves, bushings and similar components can be inspected and evaluated from the inside and outside circumferentially for discoloration, scratches, grooves etc. - and, if necessary, chips in O-ring grooves. Then, the parts are measured for geometric characteristics such as length, inner diameter, outer diameter, coaxiality, roundness, chamfers and many more.

    Reduction of the CO2 footprint

    Climate-neutral production - not just a dream of the future for us, but a daily reality! By recovering heat from our compressors, we use energy more efficiently which significantly reduces our CO2 emissions and our energy costs. Our photovoltaic system provides enough electricity to cover the entire electricity demand for the day shift and continues to contribute to our reduction of emissions. Our fleet of company cars consists of electric and hybrid cars only. We support the electromobility of our employees and customers by provided charging stations in the company car park. We have recently converted the lighting in production to LED. This conversion alone saves half of the electricity consumed by the lighting.

    One innovation that we are particularly proud of is the integration of the exact calculation option for an order-related CO2 balance. The CO2 balance is traceable and evaluable on an order-related basis. This innovation will be used for the first time in our current development project "Machine 11" and will be successively integrated in existing machines.

    With these very important changes, we are gradually becoming more climate-neutral, contributing to climate protection and reducing our CO2 footprint.

    Together against Corona

    As a SME business we see ourselves challenged by the Covid19 crisis to take responsibility and to keep the economy running.
    What does that mean in the current situation?
    There are two things which are particularly important to us. First of all, the health of our own employees and that of our customers. As soon as the first measures were taken by the federal government in mid-March, we took various precautions for our employees and visitors in order to be able to provide optimal protection. These precautions made it possible to maintain production and delivery capacity even in these difficult times. The second priority for us is to ensure that the economy continues to function properly, which would be derailed if every company waited until the last minute to place orders.

    We are all responsible as a company to be united and cautious in the times of a pandemic. We are continuously re-evaluating our safety situation on a daily basis and adapting our approach according to the current regulations.

    Successful Certification

    In December 2019, we successfully passed the surveillance audit for the VDA 6.2 and ISO 9001 certificates. We met the requirements successfully and were able to prove ourselves once again. The ISO 14001 recertification is scheduled for mid-2020.

    We have expanded again

    We acquired an adjacent plot of land in December 2019, so we can continue to expand in the future. The 3,780 m² area offers us the opportunity to build another production facility with a size of 2,200 m². The total production area will then be 4,700 m². A lot of space will be designated for further testing facilities in the coming years.

    Integration of new Technologies

    We are live in the Industry 4.0 process and are gradually integrating a completely new software version into our testing facilities. This will give us more flexibility, speed and real-time data visualisation for digital manufacturing.

    In addition, we are preparing for autonomous industrial trucks in the future. This selfdeveloped artificial intelligence can then be used for the local infrastructure. These are important steps as we prepare for upcoming projects and to implement our interpretation of Industry 4.0!

    Expansion of our Machinery

    Our second surface inspection system has been delivered! The single glass plate system consists of five stations and combines surface inspection with dimensional inspection. Another highlight is the colour sensor, which recognizes and sorts different coloured parts. We now have 27 inspection systems. Further systems, including a self-developed conveyor system, are already being planned.

    New Surface Testing Facility in Operation

    Six months ago, we announced that we have invested in new surface testing equipment. The first of the two systems has now arrived and is already operational. It is a two-glass plate system that performs a 360° surface inspection with five stations. Defects such as dirt, burrs, break-outs or others can now be reliably detected. Mixed productions are also sorted apart by sorting into three OK bins.
